So the first level block-in has been completed. All that's left for this level is some minor fine-tuning. For instance a couple of the ammo pickups appear partly in the ground making it harder to see them. Another one is adding a kill box to keep the players inside the arena as they are easily able to 'Rocket Jump' out of the level. This will provide a penalty to the player and keep things fair. Lastly this arena needs to be textured.
Now we also took some time to test our level with all the current systems provided by Paul, but using stock weapons and characters at the moment. We've only had one player complain about geometry issues. They were playing as the test Yellow Guy and there was one ramp that they had trouble climbing. However, everone else seemed to be able to climb said ramp. Work has begun on the other two arena's as well so that there will be more levels for future tests.
Also, Paul, seeing as how you pretty much have met all your milestones early, I'm going to recommend that you start polishing the GUI and add in a custom splash screen and title screen with custom buttons.
Lastly I would like to apologize to the team for not being able to meet the milestone that was set. I will make sure I hit my next milestone next week though. Keep up the good work Team Noshville!
